Dress Cards

It is no surprise that these two dresses are from the Cricut Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.  I can't believe I have had the Gypsy for several months and I am just getting around to playing with this cartridge.  For the black dress card, I used Tim Holtz distressed ink to ink up a sheet of white paper and then I crumbled it up while wet to add texture to it.  I then wrapped pink ribbon around the distressed looking sheet.  I think it turned out okay.  If you have any questions regarding any of the cards, please feel free to send me an e-mail.

Apple Card

Here is a card that I made for my daughter's teachers.  The apple is taken from the Cricut Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.  I must say that I am really liking this cartridge.

Shoe Card

Here is a card I made using the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge that comes loaded in the Cricut Gypsy.  I can't believe that I have never used this cartridge before!  There are so many fun things to cut on this cartridge.  I will definitely be using it more.

2nd Birthday Scrapbook Page

I finally got around to scrapbooking my daughter's 2nd and 3rd birthdays.  I am only posting her 2nd birthday scrapbook page because it was too hard to cover up all the faces in the pictures for her 3rd birthday.  I hope that you guys are having a wonderful weekend!!!

Second Birthday Card

Here is another card I made today using left over paper scraps.  It was very easy to make so I made a few of these at once.

Birthday Card

Here is a simple birthday card I made today using left over paper scraps.  I thought it turned out pretty card for a simple card.

Strawberry Card

Good Morning Everyone,

Here is a strawberry card I made using the Hello Kitty cartridge by Cricut.  I also used the Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the cardstock and the strawberry.  Did I tell you guys how fun it is to use the Gypsy by Provocraft?  I no longer plug in any cartridge to my Cricut.  I only use my Gypsy.  It is  so convenient.  I bought the strawberry paper from Joann's.  It is part of the "Nana's Nursery" by DCWV paper pack.  I also used papers from Papertrey Ink-Kraft, New Leaf, and Pure Poppy.  I love their papers.  It is by far the best cardstock that I have used so far.

Also as a side note, I recently purchased the Dahle 550 Rolling Trimmer.  In my opinion, if you are looking for a trimmer to cut multiple papers at once, this is the trimmer.  It is rather large and you will need space for this trimmer, but it is amazing.
